Troubleshoot Craftsman Garage Door Opener Flashing Light

It s important to get this switch at just the right distance from the motor so that the door is able to close all the way but the motor also knows to stop running. Once you push this button the light on the garage door opener will flash twice. Wait for 15 minutes for the overload protector to reset before operating the garage door opener again. The garage door opener light will flash twice and the down button will begin to flash press and hold the down button till the garage door reaches the fully closed position. If the garage door has been repeatedly used this may have tripped the overload protector in the motor.

Try making small adjustments. The light from the opener blinks 10 times to warn you about misaligned photo eyes. Once you see the double flash press the control button on the remote control. If the sending sensor with the amber led is not lit check the wire and connections for that sensor.
